GASTROBOTANICAL COURSE
18th and 19th NOVEMBER
Jardín de l’Albarda
We´re preparing a finger licking weekend in the Albarda garden: a gastro botanical course. You´ll know about the vegetal biodiversity that exists in the food use and the multiple profits it has.
The course covers 3 work sessions. In each one you´ll make 4 or 5 recipes: 2 or 3 starters, a main dish and a dessert that you can after taste at lunch time (from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.) and at dinner time (from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.).
– Exclusively elements of vegetal origin will be used for the recipes, both fresh and processed.
-During the recipes development, we´ll deepen in the botanical aspects of the ingredients used: origin, functions, characteristics, structure…
-Recipes will be made according to the products used in each session:
SATURDAY 18th NOVEMBER
Session 1: Leaves and flowers, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Session 2: Roots, tubers, rhizomes and stems, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
SUNDAY 19th NOVEMBER
Session 3: Fruits, seeds and mushrooms, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
PLACES AVAILABLE: 22. The places will be reserved after the payment has been made.
The activity will be in Spanish.
COURSE FEE: 110 € (Three work sessions).
It includes formative materials, ingredients to make the recipes, theoretical classes and recipes tasting.
MATERIALS TO BE BROUGHT BY THE ASSISTANTS:
Apron, cuttery (a spoon, a teaspoon, a fork and a knife), a kitchen knife, a cutting board, a cloth, a glass, a deep dish and a shallow dish (not dessert size).
